YORK, Pa. – Four schools in York County, in south-central Pennsylvania, are now closed because of concerns over swine flu.
On Monday, the York City School District closed Edgar Fahs Smith Middle School and McKinley Elementary School. One student tested positive in the district, but 16 others showed up with symptoms.
Logos Academy, a private Christian school in York, announced on Tuesday it has ended its school year almost a week early because a significant number of students have influenza-like symptoms.
