An eighth case of swine flu has been confirmed at a Sheffield school.
Lydgate Junior School announced on Friday that it would be closed this week after a pupil was found to have the disease.
A further six cases were confirmed on Saturday. A spokesman for NHS Sheffield said an eighth child had now tested positive for the virus.
An adult in Doncaster was confirmed as having swine flu earlier and is taking anti-viral medicines.
Tony Baxter, director for public health at NHS Doncaster, said: “The person is being given antiviral medicines and is responding well to the treatment. Everyone who has been in close contact with this person has received antiviral medicines.”
