Health officials say Hong Kong’s swine flu cases have topped 100 as nine more people were found to be infected.
Controller Thomas Tsang of the Center for Health Protection said two children _ ages 6 and 8 _ were confirmed with the virus on Monday, but have not been in contact with infected patients or traveled overseas recently. He said authorities cannot determine how it was contracted.
Tsang said two others among the new cases were domestically transmitted, while the remaining five had traveled recently to the United States, Canada and Thailand.
The territory’s tally now stands at 101.
