NC gets new case of swine flu; total cases now 14

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) – Health officials say another case of swine flu has been confirmed in North Carolina.

Durham County health officials say the latest case was confirmed Saturday in someone being treated in a hospital in the area, brining the total number of cases in the state to 14.

Authorities says they are taking all precautions to make sure no one else in infected and to notify anyone who came in contact with the sickened individual.

Health officials say the latest case is not released to the case announced Friday in a staff member at UNC Hospitals.
