A total of 63 cases of swine flu have been identified in Wyoming, including two in Natrona County.
The Wyoming Department of Health sent out its latest data Thursday afternoon. So far, swine flu cases have been confirmed in seven Wyoming counties: Laramie (46 cases), Sweetwater (six), Lincoln (five), Natrona (two), Uinta (two), Fremont (one) and Johnson (one).
The actual number of cases likely is higher, according to the Department of Health, because many people do not seek medical attention for their illnesses.
The first case of swine flu in Wyoming was identified on May 27 in Laramie County.
The Department of Health recommends the following tips to help prevent the spread of swine flu:
* Stay home from work, school or travel while ill with flu-like symptoms, which include fever, cough, sore throat and body aches.
